Internacional striker Leandro Damiao suggests that he would be open to moving to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has revealed that he would be interested in moving to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

It had been suggested that Spurs' failure to make the Champions League would end their interest in the 23-year-old, but the Brazilian was suggested that a deal could still take place.

"I know of Tottenham's interest in me but I am happy to wait until the president of my club lets me know something official," Damiao told reporters at a press conference.

"I would prefer to play in a team that is in the Champions League, but the most important thing is that they share the same ambition that I have."

Damiao is widely expected to leave Brazil this summer.
