Italian champions Juventus could reportedly wreck Everton's chances of signing Andre Gomes on a permanent deal by making an offer of their own.
The 25-year-old has impressed for the Toffees during his loan stint from Barcelona, starting nine Premier League games in total after overcoming an injury issue upon his arrival.
Gomes is due to return to Camp Nou at the end of the season, however, and there is no 'first-option clause' inserted in his loan deal that gives Everton an advantage over any other interested parties.
According to The Sun, Juventus like the look of the Portugal international and may join the bidding next summer if Barcelona agree to cash in.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been tipped to make a move for Gomes, with Everton boss Marco Silva recently admitting that signing the midfielder on a full-time basis is out of his hands.
