Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly lose out on the signing of Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor following the emergence of Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Russian outfit are believed to have expressed their interest in the Togolese frontman, who spent a season-long loan at White Hart Lane during the last Premier League campaign.
Reports claimed yesterday that talks between City and Spurs had stalled due to wage demands and it is understood that Lokomotiv are willing to match Adebayor's requests, according to the London Evening Standard.
While the Russian Premier League outfit are thought to be keen on the former Arsenal hitman, reports have suggested that Adebayor would prefer a switch to Tottenham.
