Tottenham Hotspur's attempts to sign Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor have reportedly hit a major snag.
It is understood that the 28-year-old is keen to return to Spurs, but City are demanding a figure of £6m for the Togo international.
Adebayor has offered to take a cut in his wages, according to The Sun, but as it stands, he will return to first-team training with City on Tuesday.
The powerful forward scored 18 goals for Tottenham during a loan spell last season.
