Manchester City are in discussions with Napoli over the possibility of signing Fabian Ruiz this summer, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly in discussions with Napoli over the possibility of signing Fabian Ruiz during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who has previously been strongly linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona, has again been a key player for his Italian club this season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.

Ruiz's contract in Naples is due to expire in a little over two years, though, and there have been suggestions that he could move on in the upcoming market.

According to Don Balon, the Premier League champions have made contact with Napoli to discuss the Spain international, while there have also been talks with the player's representatives.

Ruiz has made 127 appearances for his current side since arriving from Real Betis in July 2018.

Man City are expected to be active during this summer's transfer window, and the club are also being strongly linked with a move for unsettled Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
