Mauricio Pochettino: 'Another new deal to come'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino reveals that another player will soon commit his future to Spurs after Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen both signed new deals.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that another player will soon commit his future to Spurs, following in the footsteps of both Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier.

Eriksen penned a new four-year contract with the London club last week and Dier followed suit on Tuesday, with the England international signing a new five-year deal at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino has said that Dier's deal will not be the last contract extension this week, and the Argentine's comments will fuel suggestions that Harry Kane, who has been in contract talks, will soon sign on the dotted line.

"In the next few days maybe there will be another player with the same news as Eric and Christian," Pochettino told reporters. "It's important for the club, not just me."

Tottenham will kick off their 2016-17 Champions League campaign against Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on Wednesday night.
