Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been informed by Ajax that it will take a bid of £67m to land in-demand midfielder Frenkie De Jong.
The 21-year-old is also understood to be on the radar of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain after impressing in the Eredivisie last season.
De Jong's stature is now even higher following his display for the Netherlands against Spain last week, leading to talk of a bidding war in the New Year.
Tottenham are among the sides to have shown an interest and, according Spanish outlet Sport, they have already made contact with Ajax.
The Dutch giants will only consider doing business if their steep asking price is met, it is claimed, which may rule Mauricio Pochettino's men out of the running.
