Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong is reportedly concerned that Barcelona have pulled out of the race for his signature.
Barcelona were strongly linked with a move for the 21-year-old during the summer transfer window, and are believed to have had at least one bid rejected by Ajax.
A number of clubs have since joined the race, with Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all credited with an interest in the Netherlands international.
According to Mundo Deportivo, De Jong has not heard from Barcelona since the end of August, and the midfielder is concerned that the Spanish champions might have dropped their interest.
De Jong, who scored once in registered nine assists in 26 appearances last season, moved to Ajax from Willem II in 2015, and represented Jong Ajax before stepping into the first team.
