Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has ruled out the possibility of selling Peter Crouch during the current transfer window.
Queens Park Rangers are among the clubs believed to be interested in the 32-year-old striker, but the Welshman is not willing to park company with the former England international.
"No, it is not an option," talkSPORT quotes the 50-year-old as saying. "There was a point where we thought there was a possibility of doing our business quite early, but that hasn't panned out, and we have missed out on a number.
"We have probably been misled somewhat on others as well - in terms of the information we are getting and the plans for certain players.
"You have to shrug your shoulders and move on. It is about making sure at the end of the window, we are stronger than we were at the beginning."
Crouch has scored four goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season.
