Sam Clucas is undergoing a medical with Stoke City ahead of a £6m move from Swansea City, according to a report.
The 27-year-old appears certain to be on his way out of South Wales before this evening's deadline, having already been linked with Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A failure to agree personal terms saw a move to Burnley break down earlier this week, while Wolves are not thought to have followed through with their initial interest.
Clucas could now be on his way to Swansea's second-tier rivals Stoke, with Sky Sports News suggesting that terms have already been agreed.
Speaking after last weekend's 2-1 win at Sheffield United, Swans boss Graham Potter confessed that he is unsure where Clucas - not involved at Bramall Lane - will end up come the end of the transfer window.
