Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole describes Sunday's win at Fulham as a 'massive result' for the side.

Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole has described Sunday's 3-1 victory at Fulham as a "massive three points" for his side.

Steven Fletcher, Carlos Cuellar and Stephane Sessegnon were all on target for the Black Cats at Craven Cottage as they recorded their first away win of the season.

"Wins have been hard to come by so it is a massive three points for us and we deserved it," Cattermole told Sky Sports News.

The victory has moved Sunderland up to 15th place in the Premier League table.
