Pablo Hernandez says that he has no regrets over his decision to join Swansea City from Valencia.

Spanish winger Pablo Hernandez has admitted that his summer transfer to Swansea City was the "best" decision that he has ever made.

The 27-year-old left his boyhood club Valencia to link up with the Welsh outfit in a deal believed to be worth £5.5m.

Having played a part in Swansea's League Cup final victory over Bradford City at the weekend, Hernandez has revealed that the success at Wembley has made him even more certain that he had made the right move.

"For me the decision of coming to Swansea is the best of my career," he told the club's official website. "I didn't think when I came here that it would be difficult to win a title. I only had to look at the quality players already here to know we had a chance.

"I enjoy playing here. I enjoy being around the players, the club and the fans. It's history for our club, our city and our fans. It was brilliant seeing all the fans in the stand, all cheering and singing for us.

"Wembley is a historic stadium and known throughout the world, so it was brilliant to play there. I've played at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge in the Champions League but this is different. This is a historic achievement for the club. It means everything to us."

Hernandez has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season.
