Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has praised teammate Michu for his contribution during his first season in England.
Michu, who joined the Welsh side from Rayo Vallecano last summer, scored 22 goals in 43 games during an impressive campaign.
Rangel told the club's official website: "Michu affects you not just in terms of his goals but it's also his work-rate on and off the ball. He goes for it 100% – he is not afraid of anything.
"When you see a player like that, it motivates you even more. It's great to see the passion he has. This season he has been a leader when he was playing as the lone striker. He showed the whole team that we will go for it.
"He drags everyone into the game. His finishing, his runs into the box, his tackling – it's fantastic. Everything about his game really motivates us individually."
Michu has been linked with a return to Spain in recent months.
