Huw Jenkins says that Swansea City have received no contact from any other club about signing Ashley Williams.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed that he has not been contacted by any other club over a potential move for captain Ashley Williams.

The Wales skipper has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool this summer, with some reports claiming that bids have been rejected for the player by the Swans.

However, Jenkins expressed his confusion at the situation and insists that he has heard nothing from anyone about a possible transfer involving the defender.

"While there seems to be constant speculation about Ashley Williams, I can honestly say that I haven't had one call from anybody about him," Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post.

"There have been all sorts of stories in the press about what is happening with Ash, but I have never heard anything from anyone."

Arsenal remain the bookmakers' favourites to sign Williams.
