Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that "a World Cup without me wouldn't be a World Cup", as he offers a further hint that he will come out of international retirement for Sweden.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has teased that he will come out of international retirement to play a part for Sweden in this summer's World Cup finals.

The 36-year-old, who has not featured for his national side since Euro 2016, revealed last week that there is a "sky high" chance of him being in Russia.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Los Angeles Galaxy striker Ibrahimovic offered a further hint that he will be at the quadrennial tournament, although it remains to be seen in what capacity.

"I'm going to the World Cup, yes," he said. "I just said I'm going to the World Cup. If I say more, people will hang me so I have to be careful what I say now. A World Cup without me wouldn't be a World Cup."

Ibrahimovic is Sweden's all-time top goalscorer with 62 goals in his 116 caps.
