Talleres will continue to hunt down River Plate at the top of the Argentine Primera Division when they host Arsenal Sarandi at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes on Sunday.
The hosts come into this match just four points off top spot, while the visitors are seeking to win just their second away match of the season, to lift themselves from the bottom of the table.
Match preview
Talleres made it three consecutive wins across all competitions with a 2-0 victory over Chacarita Juniors in the first round of the Copa Argentina.
Ramon Sosa and Nahuel Bustos both struck for the home side inside the opening 20 minutes to seal Albiazul's place in the next round and make it seven games unbeaten since a 1-0 defeat to Estudiantes on April 23.
Prior to that, La T enjoyed back-to-back victories in the league, firstly edging past Argentinos Juniors with a narrow 1-0 victory, before picking up a 3-1 win away from home at Tigre courtesy of two late strikes from Bustos.
Javier Gandolfi's side have amassed 37 points from 19 games, recording 11 wins, four draws and four losses so far this season, leaving them in second place and four points adrift of River Plate.
Talleres have managed to win six of their 10 home games this season and have not tasted defeat against this weekend's opponents in their last five meetings.
Meanwhile, Arsenal Sarandi's struggles at the bottom of the Argentine Primera Division continue despite two wins in their last three matches.
El Arse enjoyed a 1-0 win over Boca Juniors last time out courtesy of Joaquin Pombo's strike in the 25th minute, as well as a 2-1 triumph over Independiente with a defeat against Atletico Tucuman coming between those victories.
It should be noted, however, that those two successes both came at home, and Arsenal Sarandi have not recorded a win on their travels since their 2-1 win over River Plate on February 26.
As a result, El Arse have the worst away record in the entire league, picking up just one win from 10 matches on the road, losing eight of those and drawing one.
Federico Vilar's side find themselves rock-bottom in the standings, with 17 points after 19 matches, although they could climb to as high as 21st place should they get a positive result here and other scores go their way.

Team News
Michael Santos will look to lead the line for the hosts here after featuring in every game so far this season, bagging himself 12 goals.
Likewise, Guido Herrera and Rodrigo Garro have also played every minute in the league campaign up until this point, so they will be expected to start on Sunday.
As for the visitors, only one team has conceded more goals than El Arse, so they are expected to deploy a five-man defence in order to try to keep things tight at the back, which would see Adrian Sporle and Lucas Souto feature in the full-back roles, while Joaquin Pombo, Nestor Breitenbruch and Maximiliano Centurion make up the central defender positions.
Luis Leal has only scored three goals in 17 appearances so far this season, so Vilar could be tempted to stick with Facundo Pons, who scored the winning goal against Independiente.
Talleres possible starting lineup:
Herrera; Benavidez, Catalan, Rodriguez, Portillo; Villagra, Ortegoza; Valoyes, Garro, Sosa; Santos
Arsenal Sarandi possible starting lineup:
Medina; Souto, Centurion, Breitenbruch, Pombo, Sporle; Biafore, Muscia, Toloza; Pons, Londono
We say: Talleres 2-0 Arsenal Sarandi
Talleres are enjoying a brilliant campaign up until this point and have not tasted defeat against Arsenal Sarandi for five games, so we can see the home side winning comfortably.
Despite a victory against Boca Juniors last weekend, the visitors are bottom of the league for a reason and possess the worst away record in the division.
