Team News: Nicky Maynard named in Cardiff City squad

Nicky Maynard is named in the Cardiff City squad for the first time since November after overcoming a back injury

Nicky Maynard has been named in the Cardiff City squad for the first time since November as the Welsh side host Blackpool later today.

Maynard, who is out of contract in the summer, has been out with a back injury since late 2014.

Ben Turner has also returned to fitness and is named on the bench.

Joe Lewis, Mark Waddington, and Grant Hall are all ruled out for the Seasiders but Miles Addison overcomes a knee injury to start.

Cardiff will be looking for only their second home win this year.
