Torino manager Giampiero Ventura has said that his side deserved to claim a point after battling to a 1-1 draw against AC Milan this evening.
Carlos Bacca had given the Rossoneri the lead, but Daniele Baselli's strike 10 minutes later ensured that the match finished all square at the Stadio Olimpico.
"It's difficult to judge this performance, as it was a very difficult week," Ventura told Mediaset Premium. "Over the last 15 days we've lost 10 players to injury. On Wednesday we weren't even sure we could field 11 players.
"Alessandro Gazzi was at 40% tonight and Giuseppe Vives practically hasn't trained at all this week. I thank Baselli, who gave his all despite not training for five days.
"It is gratifying to work with this squad. In any case, it was a deserved point, but we are certainly capable of doing a lot better than this."
Torino are currently fifth in the Serie A table.
