Jordan Henderson for Liverpool move

Jordan Henderson is thought to be heading to Anfield in exchange for David Ngog.

Jordan Henderson will be moving to Liverpool in Kenny Dalglish’s first signing as permanent manager.

The 20-year-old is expected to have talks at Anfield today after the terms for the move were accepted last night.

“A fee has been agreed with Liverpool for Jordan Henderson and he travels to Anfield today with the club’s blessing,” a spokesperson told Sunderland’s official site.

The arrangement, said to be in the region of £20m, is thought to involve Liverpool’s David N’Gog travelling in the other direction as part exchange.

The players will undergo a medical at their respective destination clubs today before the moves are finalised.
