Rodrigo facing 10 weeks on sidelines?

A report claims that Valencia forward Rodrigo will be out of action until early 2016 after damaging knee ligaments during Sunday's La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid.

Valencia forward Rodrigo could miss the next 10 weeks of the season after reportedly suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during Los Che's 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Sunday evening.

The Spaniard was replaced in the first period of the La Liga clash after pulling up with a problem midway through the opening half at the Vicente Calderon.

The 24-year-old was sent for subsequent tests on Monday and according to AS, the results revealed that the attacker had partially torn his posterior cruciate ligament, which is expected to keep him out of action for more than two months.

It is understood that the Spain international will not require surgery to fix the problem, but Valencia will be without his services until 2016.
