Valencia name Juan Antonio Pizzi as new manager

La Liga club Valencia appoint Juan Antonio Pizzi as their new manager following the departure of Miroslav Djukic earlier this month.

Spanish club Valencia have named Juan Antonio Pizzi as their new manager.

Pizzi, former coach at Argentine side San Lorenzo, has replaced Miroslav Djukic who departed from the club earlier in December.

The 45-year-old manager will be joined by fellow coaches Alejandro Richino and Manuel Suarez, with the club expected to make a further announcement regarding the appointment in the coming days.

Valencia currently sit in 11th position in La Liga on 20 points.
