Report: Valencia to target Radamel Falcao

A report claims that Valencia will move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao in the summer if Singaporean businessman Peter Lim takes ownership of the club.

Valencia will reportedly move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao in the summer if Singaporean businessman Peter Lim is successful in his bid to take ownership of the Spanish club.

Lim, who was present during Valencia's Copa del Rey exit to Atletico Madrid last night, is in the process of negotiating a deal to take ownership of the cash-strapped outfit.

If his bid is successful, it is understood that boss Juan Antonio Pizzi will be handed significant funds to improve the squad at the end of the season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, money will be made available for Falcao, who is believed to be keen on departing Monaco after less than one season with the French outfit.

Falcao scored 70 times in 91 games for Atletico Madrid before leaving for Monaco last summer.
