Half-Time Report: Torino, Hellas Verona goalless

Despite both sides pushing forward and having numerous chances, the Serie A game between Torino and Hellas Verona is goalless at the break.

The Serie A game between Torino and Hellas Verona is currently goalless at the Stadio Olimpico.

The home side had the best of the early stages, Omar El Kaddouri firing an ambitious shot in the third minute from outside the area that flew over, while Amauri's effort moments later was comfortably saved.

Both teams then proceeded to go through the motions for the next 10 minutes, the impasse broken by Panagiotis Tachtsidis's header that struck the Torino post just after the quarter-hour mark.

Juan Gomez also caused a scare by hitting the woodwork midway through the first half, courtesy of a precise Lazaros Christodoulopoulos corner.

Despite both sides going on to have numerous chances on goal, they would go in level at the break, neither team able to break the deadlock.
