Watford forward Joshua King marked his return to Goodison Park in style on Saturday, as the former Everton man netted a hat-trick in a 5-2 away win.
Tom Davies gave the Toffees an early lead, but King quickly drew his side level, before former Watford striker Richarlison restored the hosts' lead on the hour mark.
Juraj Kucka netted the vital equaliser for the Hornets with 10 minutes to go, and King would then kick into gear, hitting two quickfire goals to put Watford in the ascendancy, before Emmanuel Dennis capped off a strong team performance with a fifth goal in injury time.
Such a game was a return to Goodison Park for the Norwegian, who joined the Toffees on a free transfer last season and made 11 appearances for the club, failing to find the net in that time.
He inspired the Hornets to their third league win of the campaign, seeing them rise to 14th spot after a 5-0 thrashing to Liverpool last weekend in Claudio Ranieri's first game at the helm.
