Preview: Watford vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole looks ahead to Bournemouth's trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford in the Championship at Saturday.

Bournemouth will be hoping to end a five-match run without a win when they travel to Watford in the Championship on Saturday.

Eddie Howe's side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United earlier this week, dropping them down to 15th in the table.

The Cherries reported no new injuries following the defeat, but will continue to be without Elliott Ward for another few weeks following knee surgery.

Meanwhile, Watford are in strong form, winning four of their last five matches in the Championship, including a 1-0 win over Blackpool earlier this week.

Lloyd Dyer could be in line for a promotion to the starting lineup after a busy spell at Bloomfield Road earlier this week, winning the penalty that gave the visitors the win.

Like their opponents, Watford have no new injury worries heading into the match, but may have to cope without manager Oscar Garcia again, as the newly-appointed boss remains in hospital after suffering from chest pains earlier this week.

Last season, Watford secured a 2-0 win over Bournemouth at Vicarage Road, and shared a draw with their opponents away from home.
