Goals from Ikechi Anya and Nathaniel Chalobah give Watford the points away to Ipswich Town in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Watford have beaten Ipswich Town 2-0 at Portman Road in the Championship this evening.

Goals from Nathaniel Chalobah and Ikechi Anya were enough to send the Hornets home with the three points and keep them three points behind second-placed Hull City.

Anya grabbed his second goal in as many games in the 18th minute when Jonathan Hogg and Troy Deeney combined to feed the winger, who fired low beyond Ipswich stopper Stephen Henderson.

Michael Chopra's acrobatic effort almost brought his side level on the stroke of half time, but the shot was saved by Manuel Almunia.

Chabolah doubled the lead for his side after 72 minutes when he slotted home from the edge of the penalty area after some good work by Hogg once more.
