Luca Caldirola and Simeon Jackson make their Bundesliga bows as Werder Bremen welcome Eintracht Braunschweig to the league.

Italian youngster Luca Caldirola has been chosen to make his Bundesliga debut this afternoon as Werder Bremen visit newly-promoted Eintracht Braunschweig.

The Azzurri youth international will start in central defence for Bremen, while Cedric Makiadi also makes his debut in midfield.

Dutch winger Eljero Elia misses out through illness for the visitors, with Aaron Hunt switching to the left flank ahead of Marko Arnautovic, who misses out on a place in the starting XI.

Braunschweig give a debut to Marco Caligiuri in midfield and also start with former Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson in attack.
