Felix Kroos extends Werder Bremen contract

Toni Kroos's younger brother Felix signs a fresh contract with German side Werder Bremen.

Felix Kroos has committed his future to Werder Bremen by signing a new contract with the club.

The 22-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the campaign and he will now remain with Bremen until the summer of 2015.

"I am very happy with this new contract. I have thought about what is best for my future and I am convinced this is the best way I could go," he told the club's official website.

"I based my decision solely on future chances and the last few weeks have been an indication that I am capable of being a regular in the Bundesliga. It is up to me to make sure I am a regular."

Kroos is the younger brother of Bayern Munich midfielder Toni.
