West Bromwich Albion 'write to Premier League to demand video replays'

West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace reportedly contacts the Premier League to demand the introduction of video replays.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly written to the Premier League to demand the introduction of video replays to stamp out contentious penalty decisions.

Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace has contacted the League and the referees' body to highlight four instances where he believes that his side fell victim to poor decisions by match officials.

Peace claims that West Brom were wronged in their Premier League meetings with Southampton, Arsenal, Stoke City and Chelsea, costing them seven points.

The club executive is hoping to force a debate about the issue at the next Premier League shareholders' meeting, the Daily Mail reports.

He has also requested a meeting between Mike Riley, head of the Professional Game and Match Officials Ltd, and West Brom manager Steve Clarke to investigate why his side have allegedly fallen victim to so many poor refereeing decisions.
