Ramires: 'I have never dived'

Chelsea midfielder Ramires says that he does not dive following accusations that he cheated to win a penalty against West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has hit back at claims that he dived to win a last-minute penalty against West Bromwich Albion.

The Brazilian went down inside the area after a collision with Steven Reid as the Blues trailed 2-1 in injury time at Stamford Bridge.

Baggies boss Steve Clarke has said that the referee was wrong to award the penalty, but Ramires has now defended himself.

"I have never used diving to win fouls or penalties," the 26-year-old told The Mirror. "It's not my character and those who know me know it very well."

Eden Hazard dispatched the spot kick to snatch a 2-2 draw.
