Preview: West Bromwich Albion vs Aston Villa

West Bromwich Albion take on Aston Villa at the Hawthorns on Saturday, with the Villains desperate to pick up points.

West Bromwich Albion can serve a blow to Aston Villa's hopes of survival by clinching three points from the Midlands side on Saturday.

Roy Hodgson's men will be buoyed by their 1-0 win over Liverpool last Sunday, which suggests that the Baggies will be relatively unchanged from the team that travelled to Merseyside.

While Marc Antoine-Fortune is likely to make a return to action from a hamstring problem, the striker could be placed on the bench in favour of Peter Odemwingie following the forward's goal at Anfield.

Meanwhile, pressure is increasing on Villa boss Alex McLeish, who is expected to bring Gabriel Agbonlahor back into the starting lineup in place of Emile Heskey.

Marc Albrighton and Charles N'Zogbia should keep their spots on the wing as the Villains try to lift themselves away from the relegation zone.

Current form:

West Brom: LLWLWW
Aston Villa: LDDLDL

Possible lineups:

West Brom: Foster; Olsson, Ridgewell, McAuley, Jones; Brunt, Dorrans, Thomas, Mulumbu; Odemwingie, Long

Aston Villa: Given; Warnock, Hutton, Cuellar, Lichaj; N'Zogbia, Baker, Herd, Albrighton; Weimann, Agbonlahor

Sports Mole says: 2-1
