West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has insisted that Saido Berahino will get to rediscover his goalscoring form once the transfer window closes.
For the fourth successive transfer window the 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns, with Crystal Palace and Stoke City both thought to have submitted bids of around £20m.
The Baggies are unprepared to sell Berahino until they have found a replacement, however, and with just four days of the window left Berahino looks increasingly likely to be staying with the Midlands side.
"He'll be fine. Getting over the next three or four days will be massive for him," Pulis told Sky Sports News.
"I just think, one day, I will write a thesis on it. It will be a long one. Is this the fourth or fifth window? It seems like about 20 with him. The kid has had to put up with it, you can't stop it, unfortunately. Some of the stories I could tell you."
Berahino has scored just once for West Brom in his last 18 outings.
