West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Colombian midfielder Mateo Cardona from Envigado this month.
The 20-year-old, who has been dubbed 'the next James Rodriguez' in his home country, is also said to be interesting the likes of West Ham United and Stoke City.
However, according to the Express & Star, it is West Brom that currently lead the race for the attacker, with Tony Pulis ready to give the green light for a move in the winter transfer window.
There is also believed to be interest from abroad in the shape of AS Monaco and Benfica, but it is understood that Cardona is keen on a move to the Premier League.
