Winston Reid: 'West Ham United need goals'

West Ham United defender Winston Reid urges his teammates to start scoring more goals following Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Aston Villa.

West Ham United defender Winston Reid has called on his teammates to start scoring more goals following Saturday's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.

The Hammers failed to find the net for the sixth time in the Premier League this season as they earned a point at Upton Park.

Despite being happy with West Ham's defensive performance, Reid wants the team to start turning draws into wins.

"It's a little disappointing, but at least we didn't lose," he told the club's official website.

"It's good that we're keeping clean sheets but I think that we need to start putting the ball in the back of the net.

"The boys are working hard on that and we're trying our best and training to make it a success. Hopefully we can show that next Saturday."

West Ham travel to Norwich City in the Premier League next Saturday.
