West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has brushed off reports linking him with a loan move for Seattle Sounders frontman Obafemi Martins.
The Hammers boss is looking to his striking options in the January transfer window, with Diego Forlan, Diego Milito, Andre-Pierre Gignac and Bafetimbi Gomis rumoured to be among his list of targets.
However, Allardyce revealed that the 29-year-old Nigerian is not one of those on his radar.
"I haven't heard anything about Oba," the 59-year-old told reporters. "Everyone knows if we're in the market for a player, we'll be linked with everybody.
"We'll deal with that - speculation is speculation."
The former Newcastle United striker scored eight goals in 21 appearances in the MLS last season.
