West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini suggests that he wants to keep Reece Oxford in his first-team squad.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has suggested that he does not want any more players to leave the club on loan.

The Hammers have made nine first-team signings during the summer transfer window, and it was anticipated that the club would allow a number of players to make an exit on a temporary basis.

However, Pellegrini has suggested that the likes of Reece Oxford will remain at the London Stadium, despite talk of a return to the Bundesliga.

At a press conference, Pellegrini told reporters: "When we built up the squad we knew that some players had to go out, especially young players who need to play. They knew from the beginning they would go out on loan.

"The squad is the squad I want for the season. I don't think any other players are going out at the moment."

Oxford has made 17 appearances in the senior ranks since making his debut in July 2015.
