West Ham United ready to offload record signing Marko Arnautovic?

West Ham United are prepared to sell summer signing Marko Arnautovic in January and could turn to Bournemouth's Harry Arter as a replacement, according to a report.

New West Ham United manager David Moyes has reportedly been given the green light to offload club-record signing Marko Arnautovic when the transfer window reopens.

The Hammers splashed out £25m to bring the Austria international to East London from Premier League rivals Stoke City just six months ago.

According to The Mirror, however, the 28-year-old tops a list of names Moyes is keen to get rid of in order to fund further signings in the New Year.

Arnautovic has netted twice for United since arriving in the summer and has recently missed out on a place in the starting lineup, despite his side's top-flight struggles.

The report claims that Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has been eyed up as a potential replacement by Moyes, who took over from Slaven Bilic on a short-term deal earlier this week.
