Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp tips Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez to manage England.

Queen Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has said that Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez would make a fine England coach.

The QPR boss feels that Martinez's philosophy would serve the Three Lions well and believes that he would get the national playing in a way that would see them improve their results.

"If we want to talk about playing on the world stage and keeping possession of the ball, really playing like the Spanish, we should look at Roberto," Redknapp told the Daily Mail.

"We never control games, do we? It would be interesting to have someone like Martinez involved with England, whether on a part-time basis with the Under-21s, or with the full team after Roy [Hodgson] has retired."

Redknapp's side play the Latics at Loftus Road next weekend.
