Wigan Athletic complete move for Max Power

Max Power swaps Tranmere Rovers for Wigan Athletic as he seals a deal to join Gary Caldwell's side.

Tranmere Rovers midfielder Max Power has agreed a move to League One side Wigan Athletic.

The 21-year-old has signed a three-year deal at the DW Stadium following Tranmere's relegation to non-League football.

"We are very happy to have Max on board with us. He has played at this level during his time with Tranmere but is still young and will learn a lot from the experienced players in the squad," Wigan boss Gary Caldwell told the club's official website.

"We are looking forward to seeing him develop in Wigan Athletic colours."

Power scored 13 goals last season, but was unable to prevent Rovers from finishing bottom of League Two.
