Centre-back Naldo scored a late strike from a long way out to keep Wolfsburg's Champions League hopes alive with a 2-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
In an even start to the game the away team managed to score with the first genuine chance as Wolfsburg started to take control. Stefan Aigner finished coolly from Tranquillo Barnetta's pass to stun the home crowd.
The goal seemed to spur the hosts on and they began to pepper the away goal, although Junior Malanda's shooting was wayward on two occasions from the edge of the box.
Ivan Perisic managed to beat his man from a Ricardo Rodriguez free kick, but he was too far out to really test Kevin Trapp in the Frankfurt goal, who held on well.
Ivica Olic was then denied twice by Trapp, who was having a brilliant half, as the sides somehow went in level despite Wolfsburg's chances.
Eventually the pressure from Wolfsburg told and with 20 minutes to play, Olic was found by a clever Kevin de Bruyne cross to finish from close range and level matters.
As they continued to attack, Wolfsburg snatched the points late on when Naldo fired in a shot from some 35 yards to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
