Hamburger SV have moved into the top half of the Bundesliga table with a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg.

The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to Maximilian Beister's clinical finish.

However, Simon Kjaer headed Wolfsburg level with 68 minutes on the clock following Marcel Schafer's cross.

The home side had a chance to get themselves in front soon after, but Vieirinha's effort hit the post.

While Hamburg have climbed up to ninth place in the standings, Wolfsburg remain in 15th.
