Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Danny Batth has admitted that he dreams "every day" about leading the club into the top flight.
The 25-year-old has played a key role in Wanderers' recent resurgence, having taken seven points from a possible nine since his return to the first team.
Batth was forced to watch on from the sidelines as he recovered from a broken foot, but with the five-month injury layoff now behind him it is a case of guiding Wolves back into the big time.
Asked if he dreams about escaping the unpredictable Championship, he told the Express & Star: "Probably every day, yeah definitely. That's why you're in the game.
"It's my ambition to lead Wolves into the Premier League. I'm the captain of the club and to lead Wolves into the Premier League as captain would be a remarkable achievement. I was really looking forward to getting back.
"I don't think I missed watching a game apart from a couple of friendlies. It's been good to watch - learning from being sat there and sitting back is always interesting. The pitch looks a lot bigger, there's more space and you see the game differently."
Wolves are currently three points adrift of a playoff berth down in ninth place.
