Jordan Graham: 'Oxford United loan was great'

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Jordan Graham says that his loan spell at Oxford United has resulted in improvements in his game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Jordan Graham has said that his loan spell at Oxford United prepared him for his full debut at his parent club last weekend.

Graham started and played 77 minutes in Wolves' 2-2 draw away at Ipswich Town, and the former Aston Villa trainee has put his progression into the first team at Molineux down to his time spent in League Two, where he featured five times at the Kassam Stadium.

The 20-year-old told BBC WM: "It was a great loan for me because I feel I really improved and matured. I can tell I've got better, especially off the ball, I'm really pleased.

"I didn't play against Birmingham or Bristol City, but I knew I just had to carry on training hard and somewhere down the line I'd get a chance - I was always prepared."

Graham could feature when Wolves host MK Dons on Saturday afternoon.
