Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Dean Saunders reveals that he was always confident a win would come for his side.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Dean Saunders has revealed that he always felt confident his side's winless run would end.

The Welshman earned his first victory as Wolves manager as his side ended a run of 12 games without a win against Millwall thanks to strikes from David Edwards and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

"I was always confident we'd turn things round," Saunders told reporters. "I know how to get a team to win - you've just got to keep believing what you're telling the players is right.

"Most of our performances have been good, but we've got the two goals to show for it here."

Wolves are now 21st in the Championship and are one point clear of the relegation zone.
