Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Peterborough United

Sports Mole previews Peterborough's Boxing Day trip to Wolves as they look to haul themselves off the bottom of the table.

Bottom-of-the-table Peterborough United could move out of the relegation zone with a win in their Boxing Day trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Posh are currently two points from safety in the Championship, but go into Wednesday's match in good form, having become the first side to beat Cardiff at home before edging a thrilling match with Bolton Wanderers that ended 5-4.

Wolves, meanwhile, sit 13th in the table and could move into the top half with a win.

Stale Solbakken's men have recovered from a nine-match winless streak to record three victories in their last four games, including a 2-1 win away to Blackpool in their last outing.

The hosts could be without Bjorn Sigurdarson as he faces a late fitness test, while Georg Margreitter is still out with a hamstring injury. Peterborough have no new injury concerns.
