Crystal Palace attacker Bakary Sako could reportedly return to Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan next month.
The 28-year-old was a key player in the Midlands side's promotion push in the 2014-15 campaign but departed for the top-flight Eagles in August 2015 after his contract had expired.
Sako has found game time hard to come by under Alan Pardew this season, however, and has been restricted to just three league appearances, all of them as a substitute.
According to BBC Sport, the Mali international's situation at Palace has alerted Wolves manager Paul Lambert, who has made enquiries about taking him on loan for the rest of the season.
Lambert has previously revealed that bringing in a new striker is his top priority in the January transfer window.
