Kenny Jackett rules out Jamie O'Hara recall

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett rules out a recall for midfielder Jamie O'Hara.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has maintained that midfielder Jamie O'Hara is not part of his plans at Molineux.

After their midweek defeat to Walsall, some of the club's fans had called for the return of the former Tottenham Hotspur man, but Jackett has insisted that he will continue to select from the five other central midfielders at the club.

The 51-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "Nothing has changed and I'm working with the players that I have. We're talking about Lee Evans and David Davis and what their next stage is and there is a lot of responsibility on them to do very well.

"We've brought in Kevin McDonald, we've got Jack Price and Dave Edwards – they're the midfielders at present who are looking to fill that role, find that combination and the right balance of positional sense and passing that, at times, we've lacked in midfield.

"O'Hara is not in my plans. I'm going to Shrewsbury with the same 20 players."

O'Hara hasn't featured for Wolves since the final day of last season.
