Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has insisted that Nottingham Forest have not yet matched the club's asking price for Bakary Sako.
The Championship side have reportedly made a fresh bid to sign the 25-year-old midfielder, having failed to secure his services during the summer transfer window.
However, Jackett has said that Wolves are prepared to wait for the right price before allowing the player to leave Molineux.
"There has been renewed interest from Forest but I can only re-iterate that nothing will happen unless it's exactly right for us," Jackett told the Express & Star.
"At present there's no news because the clubs haven't agreed a deal.
"It's not something we're pushing but if there's a deal that's good for us, and any player wanting to go, we'd have to pursue it."
Sako has scored five goals in nine appearances this season.
