Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has rubbished speculation linking Kevin Doyle with a move to Everton.
The Toffees are said to be keen on boosting their attacking options this month and boss David Moyes has reportedly identified Doyle as a prime candidate.
However, McCarthy has poured scorn on suggestions that the Republic of Ireland is heading for the Molineux exit door.
"I'd be crackers to even start thinking about it. It's not happening - end of story," McCarthy told reporters.
Doyle joined Wolves in 2009 from Championship side Reading.
