Warrington Wolves have won the Challenge Cup after beating Leeds Rhinos 35-18 at a rain-soaked Wembley this afternoon.
Tries from Joel Monaghan and Trent Waterhouse meant graced Wolves with a narrow 12-10 lead into the break.
If the first half was a close encounter, the second was anything but, and as the lightning struck around Wembley, it was the Wolves who stormed ahead with tries from Chris Riley, Ryan Atkins and star of the show Brett Hodgson.
The Australian also helped himself to five conversions and claimed the Lance Todd trophy for his efforts.
Kallum Watkins bagged a brace of tries for the Rhinos but it was to no avail as Leeds finished runners-up yet again.
The Rhinos have now lost five Challenge Cup finals, while Warrington have lifted the trophy three times in the last five years.
